San Francisco International Auto Show -- November, 2001

Overall, this show was somewhat lackluster. Missing were MAJOR names like Ferrari and Lamborghini, two show regulars. But, on the bright side, the Saleen S7 was not only present, but featured very prominently, right at the bottom of the escalators at the show entry, the first car to be seen by people as they entered the show. Some other makers had some cool concepts there, but nothing earth-shattering, and the new Z was conspicuous in its absense.
